Stephen Rotella was born in 1954. His father was a blue-collar worker, and his mother was a homemaker. He was brought up in a humble but honorable environment. Steve says his parents taught him to work hard and always play by the rules.
Rotella is the current Chief Executive Officer at StoneCastle Cash Management, LLC. StoneCastle was founded in 2003 and provides cash management service for institutional investors. Before this, Rotella was the President of Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation. Since 2001, he has served as the Vice President of JP Morgan Chase and the Chief Executive Officer of Chase Home Finance, LLC.
Rotella has been involved in business pretty much throughout his adult life. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State University of New York in 1975 and his MBA in Information Systems and Finance from the same institution in 1978. Apart from serving as StoneCastle’s CEO, Rotella is also the chairman of LIFT’s National Board and a renowned philanthropist.
Stephen Rotella has managed to be Director and Chair of BalletMet, Advisory Boards Member at Vericrest Financial, Inc., and at the moment he shares the company of some of the best in his field as he is on the Board of Directors of Mortgage Bankers Association. Stephen is a renowned figure in the banking and business world. He made it to the top as a result of his unyielding dedication to working hard at the things he loves.
Before rising to the top, Stephen has worked in many industries namely retail brokerage, system consulting industries and mutual funds. He has made it his job to be all rounded in different sectors of the ever-expanding industrial world.
